FashionablyGood is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, not a jewelry company. Our pieces come from donors who send us designer and fine jewelry they no longer wear, take a tax deduction, and let those pieces go to work for charity instead of sitting in a drawer.
That model changes the economics. Because we don't buy inventory, we don't price like a jeweler. Rentals are flat, modest prices, and 100% of our net rental profits go to the charities on our Honor Roll. You get the piece for the night. A real charity gets the proceeds.
Why Rent Jewelry Instead of Buying It?
A statement necklace worthy of a black tie event can run $3,000 to $50,000 to buy. Most people wear a piece like that once or twice, then pay to store and insure it forever.

3. It ships free. Shipping is free both ways. Your two week rental starts the day the piece is delivered.
4. Wear it. Show up, enjoy the event, take the photos.
5. Send it back. Drop it in the mail with the prepaid return label. Cleaning is on us.

How long is the rental period?

What happens if I damage or lose a piece?
Minor wear (a loose clasp, light scuffing) is fully covered at no charge. Major damage or a piece that never comes back gets charged at repair or replacement cost, and we always reach out and talk it through first. There's no security deposit. Full details are in our rental terms.
Do I need to clean the jewelry before returning it?
No. Every piece is professionally cleaned and inspected between rentals, and that's included in the price.
