Worn Once, Photographed Forever
A dress for a wedding or a gala gets one night and a lifetime in other people's photos. That is the whole case for renting it: you get the dress that is right for the night, at a price that reflects one night, and it goes back to be someone else's right dress after.
Dresses here run $10 to $150 for two full weeks, shipping free both directions. Everything was donated, much of it after a single wearing, and condition is noted honestly on every listing.
Dresses Available Now (36)
Each dress is a single piece in a single size, so what you see is exactly what is here. Ask for bust, waist and length measurements on any dress before you order.
What Is Actually in the Collection
Floor-length gowns. Strapless and halter gowns in red, burgundy, white and silver from Black Halo, Issue New York, Nightway, Windsor and Lulus, plus an embellished silver lace gown with a matching bolero.
Cocktail and midi. Sheath and fit-and-flare dresses from Ann Taylor, Dolce & Gabbana and Lee Richard, a velvet ruched dress, and satin slips from Song of Style and Meshki that work for a rehearsal dinner or a city wedding.
Florals and summer. Saint Laurent floral silk mini, Zimmermann, Lilly Pulitzer, Hello Molly and Vici for garden weddings and daytime events.
White and ivory. A handful of white gowns and lace dresses from AW Bridal, Lulus and Exlura. They are listed as rentals for elopements, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers and engagement photos; if you need a full wedding dress, ask, and we will say honestly whether one of these is enough.
Fit: The Honest Version
One dress, one size. Everything is donated, so there is no size run. We measure bust, waist, hip and length on request and will say plainly whether a dress is likely to work for you.
Alterations happen. A donated gown may have been hemmed or taken in for its first owner. We note it when we can see it, but that is the most common reason a dress fits the tag and not you, so ask for measurements rather than trusting the label.
Two weeks is the rental window. That is deliberate: it leaves time for the dress to arrive early, for you to try it on, and to tell us if it is wrong while there is still time to send another.

Common Questions
Can you rent a dress or gown?
Yes. Dresses run $10 to $150 for two weeks, shipped free both ways anywhere in the United States. The collection is donated, so each dress is one size only.
Are dresses cleaned between rentals?
Yes. Every dress is professionally cleaned and inspected between rentals, and that is included in the price.
What if it doesn't fit?
Tell us before you order. Send your measurements and the event date and we will say honestly whether a dress is likely to work. The two-week window is there so a wrong dress can be swapped in time.
Do you rent wedding dresses?
We have a small number of white gowns and lace dresses, listed above, that work for elopements, rehearsal dinners and engagement photos. Ask before renting one as a wedding dress and we will tell you plainly whether it is enough.
How is this different from Rent the Runway?
Every dress here was donated to a 501(c)(3), rental profits go to the charities on our Honor Roll, and each dress is a single piece rather than a size run. It is smaller, cheaper and more one-of-a-kind. How renting works.
