Renting Shoes Honestly: Sizing and Fit
We would rather say this plainly than have a pair arrive that does not work. Shoes are the hardest thing to rent well, for three reasons.
One pair, one size. Everything is donated, so there is no size run. A pair either exists in your size or it does not, and we will tell you which.
Sizes are not consistent between makers. An Italian 39 and a US 8.5 are nominally the same and frequently are not. If you know you run large or small in a particular brand, say so on the form.
Worn shoes have taken a shape. Second-hand shoes have moulded to someone else's foot. Most pairs are barely worn, and condition is noted honestly on each listing, but this is a real difference from buying new and it is right that you know it before ordering.

Black tie and galas
A closed heel in a metallic or a neutral disappears under a gown and goes with everything. Start with what to wear to a charity gala.
Weddings on grass

Can you actually rent shoes?

Are rented shoes cleaned?
Yes. Every pair is cleaned and inspected between rentals, and that is included in the price. Soles and insoles are checked each time a pair comes back.
What if they don't fit?
Tell us before you order. Send your usual size and any brand you know you size differently in, and we will say honestly whether the pair is likely to work. It is a better use of both our time than a return.
